JULY 17 ARTBEAT in DAVIS SQUARE
We will be telling pirate stories and singing pirate shanties in the Starbucks Plaza on Elm Street at 12pm and leading a PIRATE PARADE at 2!

Jenn Bliss of the Moonship is coordinating the East Somerville Main Streets portion of this
fabulous event. Much of the style of the programming from Sullivan Sq. to McGrath Highway is inspired by years of working with Spontaneous Celebrations and the Wake up the Earth festival.
Come and show your support, while discovering this hidden gem of a Somerville Neighborhood
**easy access from Orange Line Sullivan Station**

SomerStreets is coming to East Somerville!

Sunday, July 25th from 12-4pm
Broadway from Sullivan Square to Temple Street

Music by Marcus Santos and Bloco, Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band and Son del Sol, dance demo by Vida Real Dance Group, Salsa Demos by Dance Havana, Circus demo by Vegetable Circus, capoeira "Roda da Rua" by Mandingueiros dos Palmares, zumba demo by Dance Zone, fencing demo by Bay State Fencers, a community drum circle, tons of kids activities, and more!
FossFest to be rocking out in front of Foss Park!

SomerStreets is the City of Somerville's new Open Streets initiative, which fosters community involvement and active living by closing a section of roadway and offering active, family-friendly programming along the route. Join ESMS, Foss Fest and the City of Somerville for this fun filled day!
