This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, (don’t quit saying it) but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8
The Word To Live By: The word meditate there means to think about it by mumbling it to yourself and imagining yourself using it to overcome the world’s tribulations. We are in the process of confessing who the Bible says we are. This is a form of meditation that I have used for a lot of years, and I can tell you it has changed my mind and my body and of course my spirit. This is day three. My eyes are open to see and my ears to hear wonderful things from the Word of God, (Psalm 119:18) so that I may behave in a manner pleasing to Him (Ephesians 4:1) and bear fruit (John 15:2) today as I walk in His great and magnificent promises that lead me in life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)
The fruit of the Spirit works in me and for me as it matures in me. I operate in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. They are my superpowers. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Thank you Christ Jesus for living through me today as I die to myself. (Philippians 1:21) I don’t labor in vain, (1 Corinthians 15:58) and my children were not born for disaster; they are my descendants blessed by the Lord, and their descendants with them. (Isaiah 65:23)
I stand firm in the Word of God. I let nothing move me. I will always give myself fully to the work of the Lord because I know that my labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
