How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3

The Word To Live By: I picked this portion of scripture because it conveys the message of consistent seeds planted. When you plant seeds daily it is going to take awhile for them to begin to bear fruit but eventually you are going to be producing fruit daily. And at some point you will be like the Psalmist of Psalm 23 your cup will be running over even in the valley of the shadow of death. Keep up your confession my brothers and sisters! Today, I will be a doer and a thinker of God’s word. I will make other people’s lives better and not worse, beginning with my wife and children.  I will not let my mind wander to things that are not godly, and I will complete my to-do list. (Philippians 4:8, Colossians 3:2)  The word of God is perfect, restoring my soul. The testimonies of God are sure, making me wise. (Psalm 19:7) My gift will make room for me with the right people at the right time. And I am always at the right place, at the right time, for the right reason. (Proverbs 18:16) When it looks like I’m not, God turns it to good. (Romans 8:28) I am a child of God; therefore, I’m saved, and I enter the day delivered, protected, healed, preserved (maintained), and whole, spirit, soul, and body. (John 1:12, Acts 2:21) If you will walk by faith and not by sight and sow the word of God into your life consistently it will change your life on a scale of 1-10 to a 12.
