You are the one who created my innermost parts; you knit me together while I was still in my mother’s womb. I give thanks to you that I was marvelously set apart. Your works are wonderful—I know that very well. Psalm 139:13,14

The Word To Live By: If you are reading this, it’s talking about you. “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His Name,” (John 1:12). If you fall into that category, then that scripture is talking about you, which means, “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them (every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist), because greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.”  “Well, I certainly don’t feel like I am overcoming the evil in my world!” That’s why the Bible says to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthains 5:7). Jesus said that in the world you will have tribulation but to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). “I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father,” (1 John 2:13). What is written that overcomes evil? The promises of God and your faith in them. “I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.” So, what’s your part? “Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil,” (Ephesians 6:10-11). “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith,” (1 John 5:4). Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God,” (1 John 5:5).  Which brings us back to John 1:12 and Psalm 139:13,14.
