Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Hebrews 10:23
The Word To Live by: 1 Timothy 6:12 says, “Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” What you say matters. Especially what you say to and about yourself. We know the Word of God is “The Truth,” and will override a truth when applied to our life in faith. We also know our faith comes from hearing the word with the intention of doing it. (Romans 10:17) We know the Word of God planted in our hearts will bear fruit. (Luke 8:5-15) One of the weapons that we fight the good fight of faith with is our confession about ourselves. Not necessarily what we see, are told, or even what we think about what ourselves, but what the Word of Truth says about us. I want to look at that in the form of a daily confession for a while. Let’s begin with Galatians 3:13 and 1 Peter 2:24. Buckle your spiritual seat belts this is going to rock and roll your soul and body. But we don’t want them to be in control we want the Spirit of God to be in control. (Isn’t that what making Him Lord means?) Today and every day I’m redeemed from the curse of the law. My sins were taken by Jesus in His body on the cross and I have died unto sin and I live unto righteousness, and by His stripes I am healed. “But the doctor said … and I don’t feel like I’ve been redeemed from the curse of the law!” OT-OT-AH, Don't get nervous we’re walking by faith and not by sight. We’re not calling those things that are as though they’re not we are calling things that be not as though they are. (Romans 4:17) And we’re not throwing away our medicine or sitting and doing nothing about our situation we are simply planting THE TRUTH and expecting it to produce the good fruit that God promised us.
