Dropbox "Open In..." not working

From the Dropbox app I open a text file. I choose the "Open In..." option and choose PlainText 2. PlainText 2 opens, but the file I've chosen does not.

I am able to open the file in other apps such as Google Drive and Drafts.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4
