Welcome to the Plainfield Motorcycle Club

We established this free organization to bring riders together who enjoy riding in groups, but don't want the hassles and fees of club membership. Any of you older members will have noticed a change in the way the group section functions. There are no longer "Pages" and "Files", but I think we can still communicate the necessary information on this site.

Any member can create his/her own riding date. It is okay if you want to have an exclusive ride, such as Sport Bikes, Cruisers, Harley's, Girls or Guys only. In the perfect world, we'd all be able to ride with the same expertise and at the same pace. Unfortunately, there will be some of us who can't or don't want to travel at breathtaking speed. Hopefully, we'll respect the capabilities of others and be specific about the riding conditions of our ride dates. If your intended ride is to get to the Mississippi River from Plainfield, in thirty minutes, please indicate that in your description. You won't want to deal with stragglers and they won't want to try to keep up with you!

All we ask is that you do a few things when you've decided on the date of the ride.

(1) You may want to check the calendar for conflicts, although it is okay to have multiple riding events on the same day.

(2) Pick your ride destination, starting place and time of departure. (Riders...Please, respect the departure time. If you are late, you are left behind. Fuel up in advance.)

(3) Create a new "Topic", which will send an email notifying all the members of your event.

(4) A club manager will attempt to put the event on the calendar in a timely manner

Members communicate with everyone in the group by creating a "New Topic" at the top of this page. The posts, in the Topics area below, go to all members via email and allow for public replies within the "Topics" area.
