Hey,

The deadline for submitting Micro-RGs for yearbook is March 25th, 2014 and after that, no Micro-RG would be taken for the yearbook.Please convey this to the BCs so that they can convey to their departments on the earlier yearbook thread.

The 51st batch of students is set to graduate from IIT Madras this year. To celebrate the occasion, we plan to come out with a Yearbook for the graduating batch. The concept of Yearbooks is quite common in Western Universities and in fact, even in high schools. For those unfamiliar with it, a yearbook contains a few details of all the students graduating in a year and also tries to serve as a nostalgic reminder of the times spent in the institute.
 
For each student, Name, Nick, Hostel and a "Micro RG" (max. ~140 characters) are to be included. A sample layout is attached for your reference. Some examples of a "Micro RG" are:
  • "Tweeter, Eater, Cheater" - Stephen Fry  
  • "Armchair thinker, excessive drinker, occasional writer, wants to be lighter." - Ramesh Srivats
  • "Silent guardian. Watchful protector. The Dark Knight." - Batman 
To aid us in this endeavor, please take a few minutes and fill the micro rg's yourself in forms below.

Please note, this is only for those students (B.Tech and Dual Degree) who are expected to graduate in this convocation and the deadline to fil this is March 17th, 2014.
Also, it has been sent through hostel Google groups earlier. If you have filled earlier, please ignore it.
