Location : Hotel Empires, Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
The schedule for the day :
* The pre-placement Talk.
* Clarification of doubts / queries of the students.
* The selection process will comprise :
* An objective type written test on Technical
proficiency of 30 minutes duration.
* An objective type Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) of
30 minutes duration.
* A GD on a chosen topic, if the numbers are more
than 15 in each stream.
* Personal Interview.
* Intimation to the institute on the result of the
selection.
* The appointment letters to the selected candidates will be
issued on a later date.
The other details are given below for your ready reference :
* The branches / stream of Engineering : Chemical, Mechanical,
Electrical, Civil and Instrumentation.
* The 'cut off' marks / CGPA would be 60% all through education
(i.e. 10th, 12th, Engineering including the completed semesters in so
far without any back-logs in subjects/papers).
* Each trainee shall start at a CTC of 4 Lakh per annum plus a
retention bonus of 1 Lakh, if they continue with the company for 3
years.
* All recruits shall undergo a well structured and
multi-functional training program for a period of one year. After
initial orientation, during the first 3 months they will be posted at
various factories & diversions of our Group companies, where they will
be exposed to functioning in the different departments. The training
has been designed on the premise that all trainees should undergo
training not only in their area of specialization but also in other
related areas. Following this, they will be allotted to any company
within our Group where they shall be absorbed in regular rolls on
successful completion of training. The job profile at the time of
absorption would be based on the technical area they would be posted eg:
Operations, Technical Services, Maintenance, Projects, Consultancy
Services etc.
* Apart from this, the recruits shall also undergo a Management
Development Program and an outbound program.
In this connection it may please be noted that selection will be based
on merit, since there will be students from other institutes as well.
We would request you to please ensure that once they are selected by us,
they may not be eligible for appearing in the selection process of other
companies.
We would therefore request you to please send us the resumes of only
those students who meet our criteria.
