Well we aimed for a memorable launch and I think we can all agree that we achieved that! Aroha mai for the Zoom-hack everyone. Zoom security is tricky when we are wanting to grow the network and cast the net wide. Rest-assured a few controls will be in place for Zoom hui moving forward in addition to the waiting room:
- Making sure only the host can share their screen.
- Locking the meeting after we expect everyone to be in the room. Approx. 12:10 each day. Recordings will be made available for anyone after the session.
We were blown away by the number of people that turned up today, so props to you all for being part of the growth of Placemaking Aotearoa. Slides from the Zoom are attached. We’ll keep the wholesome stuff from the Zoom recording and release that on placemaking.nz with a summary of the breakouts. Can I just say that there were some spectacular ideas for PMA to focus on for the future.
While we summarise the opportunities you all posed in the breakout sessions, make you help us build the network by:
- joining in on the rest of the Ako Ako series this week
- jumping onto placemaking.nz and join the discussion channels
- sharing the kaupapa widely across your networks, and
- getting in touch if you want to be an advocate in your region.
