What is happening in November?

Outdoor dining is back with a bang! Wonderful to see Melbourne streets coming back to life - but there is much to do to support recovery of mainstreets & activity centres. Other states experienced a surge of visitation after reopening, but it soon slowed.

What can Melbourne learn from everyone else about outdoor dining?

Victoria is emerging from Covid-19 restrictions months behind the rest of Australia, and we find ourselves in the unique position to examine the successes and failures of recovery efforts in other states and cities. So we asked placemakers from other Australian and NZ cities to share their experiences.  The latest Design Jam blog provides summary of the success stories and learnings from the Place Jam placemaking peer network. Go here to read more.
