Hi folks,

We're looking for more European players, as the afternoon slot at WoTmud
is relatively underpopulated. This means lots of exp etc, so please, have
a shot, or swing by to have a look and see if ya like what we're doing :)

WoTmud will be hosting an unprecedented series of quests and a
massive full-blown war, involving all players at every level,
culminating in Tarmon Gai'don, the end of the world as we know
it. Following this, the Wheel will turn, and the new features
introduced below will kick in. The winning side will be
rewarded with bonuses, and the world will start anew with a
second turning. For further details of this quest, see the
boards at WoTmud. An immense amount of work has gone into the
new features; this is the time to get involved, level up and
get ready for the most blood-curling, hair-raising and
adrenaline-pumping interactive game event on the internet over
the New Year break. Some of the new features to be introduced
include:-

o Male Channelers
o Debut of the WolfBrothers, with unusual abilities
o Debut of Warders, bonded to Aes Sedai using the One
Power, with bonuses
o Ravens, crows and rats learn to report position of
humans to Shadowspawn; penalties on Trollocs lessened
o Extra weaves for channelers
o Thieves granted the abilities to be able to scan in
cities and throw daggers without engaging the enemy
o Blademaster clan for warriors, warrior subdue skill
introduced
o Commencement of a permanent, uninterrupted clan
system with mob involvement
o Creation of Quest points for clans, and appointment
of extra clan ranks
o Combat to involve face-off instead of all attacking
buffer, and new command for blocking exits introduced
o Also banks, equipment that can be destroyed and
mended, the introduction of The Ways, primitive
Tel'Aran'Rhiod, individual Human and Trolloc races,
further refinement of the justice system, and more...

Currently:-

o Unrestricted but player-regulated pkill, with battles
not only between the Light and Dark races but also by
Darkfriends who betray the Light! All culminating in
Tarmon Gai'don, the Final Battle
o Only five rules of the mud to follow. You can do
whatever the code allows, but of course, your fellow
players may have their own ideas
o Voluntary clan system, hinged upon appointed
guildmasters, with clan wars
o Player battles between the Human and Trolloc races,
completely separated in communication
o Four classes, consisting of warriors, thieves,
rangers, and channelers
o Unique channeling (magic) system based upon the five
basic elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and
Spirit
o Specialised mobiles tailored to fit correctly into
the world
o New zones, items or mobs added weekly
o More than 50 zones, all of them unique
o Current locations include Tar Valon, Caemlyn, Four
Kings, Two Rivers areas, Braem Wood, Aringill,
Baerlon, Caralain Grass, Shayol Ghul and The Blight
o All zones checked for quality, to agree with the
books.
o Weapons grouped into classes with unique effects
o Configurable moods
o Configurable aliases for further abbreviations of
complex commands
o Enhanced track system featuring physical tracks
indicating time passage, decay, and weather effects
o ANSI colour
o Constantly updated, informative help files.
o Optional quest system, supervised by immortals
o Suitable for both beginners and experienced mudders
o Comprehensive helpfiles for non-mudders
o fast, stable site, bugtested and rarely down
o Open 24 hrs/day
o Crash protection
