The difference is that photosynthesis is for plant cells to make a
sugary material for food. Cellular respiration is for animal cells to

That is a good point Autumn. I think of it as animal cells use food
and plant cells use sunlight. That is a very simple answer, but it

I don"t exactlly get it but what i do understand is that plants have
photosynthines which lets them asorb rays of sunlight, Co2, and the
nutriants from the ground. While animal cells carry blood too and from
the heart to the entire body having a more closer cell structure
animals eat solid food and drink water unlike plants which absorb it.

Photosynthesis means getting energy from light, or the sun. Cellular
respiration means getting energy from food. Both, photosynthesis, and

The similarities would be that they are both ways of getting food for
cells. The differences would have to be that mitochondria use cellular
respiration to make food for animal cells and chloroplasts use
photosynthesis to make food for plant cells.
