I think Animal Cells don't need cell walls because they don't need to
stand up straight like a plant cell does. The cell wall provides plant
cells with a protective covering and gives the plant the rigidity it
needs in order to stand up even under pressure from wind, rain, and
snow. Animal cells don't have the same requirements.

Animal Cells do not need cell walls because unlike plant cells
animal cells don't need to stand up straight like plants do. Plants on
the other hand have to stand up straight in order to get through the
photosynthesis properly.

Plant cells', also unlike animal cells, also allows it to stand
even in the worse conditions such as wind, rain, and snow. This cell
wall also protects the cell from internal pressure during the osmosis
stage (when the plant absorbs water). Without this the plant cell will
probably die.

Animal cells on the other hand do not experience any of the
stages plant cells use which means they don't need cell walls.

Animal cells don't need cell walls because animal cells don't have the
same requirements as a plant cell does. Plant cells have to deal with
rain, wind, and sometimes snow. That causes more pressure on the
cells. So the cell wall helps with that.

The reason plant cells have cell walls are because they need to be
able to stand up to weather such as wind, rain, and snow. The animal
doesn't need the cell to withstand the weather, the animals fur or
coat protects them from harsh temperatures. Also, the animal does not
need to withstand the increased internal pressure from osmosis because
it doesn't absorb water like a plant.

Plant cells need cell to stand straight up. Animal cells don't need
cell walls because they need to move through the body like blood cells
to carry oxygen through the body. Also they don't need to stand up

Animals have only cell membranes which protects and hold together the

I think the reason why cells don't need walls is because animals need
to be able to move around. Plants, I think that they could go either
way. Plants sometimes move around but, not as much as animal cells.

Plant cells need a cell wall to maintain shape, structure and
rigidity. Animal cells don't need cell walls because they have micro
filaments and micro tubules to hold the shape of the cell.

Animals don't need cell walls because the animals need to move around.
But plants sit still, soak up sun, and provide oxygen and they don't
need to move around. Plant cells don't do that much moving around
thats why they need a cell wall. I also think that plants have a cell
wall because they need protection non like a animal that has teeth.
Also an animal can strike but a plant can't move and if an animal
steps on the plant I think that helps to. An animal also is alot
diffrent then a plant, a animal doesn't grow from the ground, and that
might also be a reason why.

The reason that animals dont need cell walls is because plants dont

Animals don't need cell walls because they have a different structure
than plants, so they have bones and muscle and they move.
The cell wall provides plant cells with a protective covering and
gives the plant the rigidity it needs in order to stand up even under
pressure from wind, rain, and snow. The plant's structure also allows
each cell to withstand increased internal pressure when the plant
absorbs water.

Like John said, it's probably because of the mobility of the animal
cells. A plant cell stays rooted in one place, and I believe that
because of their inability to move, they need extra protection against
the many other things that may come and give them grief. After all,
they can't run.

Also, the article clearly states, "The cell wall provides plant cells

with a protective covering and gives the plant the rigidity it needs
in order to stand up even under pressure from wind, rain, and snow."
