IMUSE 是哈佛大学和IMUSE青年交流发展基金合作组织的项目，旨在搭建中美大学生精英学子之间的沟通桥梁。IMUSE成功举办了多届中美大学生交流活动，并选拔代表前往美国参加会议。此次IMUSE 2010 Winter Event活动将在2009与2010两次Summer Conference之间为中美精英提供一次短期的交流机会，为夏季的精彩会面预热！
在活动中，你将结识最优秀的外国朋友，聆听重量级嘉宾讲座，进行热点问题的深入探讨；此外我们还提供丰富的午餐！

中国的公共服务组织 Public Service Organizations in China
随着近年来中国社会非盈利和慈善事业的发展，越来越多的非盈利组织和公益服务组织出现在人们的视野中，其中，由中美两国青年发起的美丽中国China Education Initiative和两名美国女孩创建的“我开”小额贷款机构以其新颖的形式和国际化的合作，吸引了当代大学生的关注。他们的理念是如何产生的，在现实中又如何运行，遇到了哪些困难，又如何克服和解决。这一系列的问题，作为嘉宾的他们将与我们的代表一一现场阐释。同时，代表也将献上良策，通过与嘉宾的现场互动来阐述自己的见解，提出可行的建议。此活动亦需要代表们提前做好相关专业知识的资料查找准备。

【About IMUSE】
IMUSE is short for Initiating Mutual Understanding through Student Exchange.
IMUSE is an organization cooperated mainly by students from Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Harvard University. Our Conference is an intimate forum for future leaders from China and America to attain mutual understanding and form meaningful friendships.
In this activity, you will make friends with outstanding foreign students, attend superb lectures, and discuss the heated issues. Additionally, we will provide tasty lunch!

Public Service Organizations in China
As the development of non-profit and charity organizations in China in recent years, more and more non-profit organizations and public service organizations appear in the people's vision, of which, “China Education Initiative”, launched by young people from China and America, and "I open", a micro-lending institution created by two American girls in the form of its innovative and international cooperation, attract the attention of contemporary college students.
How were there ideas generated? How did they run the organizations? What difficulties did they encounter? How were the problems overcome? As our guests, they will give answers to each of your questions. At the same time, the delegates can put forward feasible suggestions.
The delegates are required to prepare the information in relevant expertise in advance.

附：Speaker of China Education Initiative : Mr. Andrea Pasinetti, Chief Executive Officer, studied at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, where he focused on education in Chinese rural reform policies and the New Socialist Countryside Campaign. Mr. Pasinetti served as a director of Princeton University's Interact Program, bringing political education to underprivileged high-school students in the Trenton City area. In 2007, during a year of study at Tsinghua University, he founded CEI to aid in China's ongoing effort to rectify educational inequality.
“我开”介绍：
两个25岁的美国女子创立了自己的小额贷款机构———我开网，号召美国人把自己的闲钱捐献出来，专门为每天生活费不足1.25美元的中国贫困人口提供贷款。小额信贷是改善贫困农民生存状况的有效途径。经过调查，中国的小额信贷产业比印度、孟加拉、南美要落后20年。自从上世纪中期以来，中国从事小额信贷、教育、扶贫等的非政府组织蓬勃发展，但它们当中的很多没有足够的资金来拓展业务和影响。“我开”网站正是希望通过一种“人对人”的互动模式帮助全世界的捐款人和中国建立起联系。
