A
Smart Coup: Why One Last Military Intervention In Pakistan Remains A
Possibility

Ahmed Quraishi
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—If it comes to a military-led
intervention, both military officers and politicians will have to A Smart
Coup: Why One Last Military Intervention In Pakistan Remains A
Possibilitystay out of actual power. The army chief may not become a chief
executive. The military might have to look into a new concept called the
‘Smart Coup’, where the military can bring capable Pakistanis to power
with a firm executable plan of reform over five years, or more, fully
backed by the military. There may not be time to put the plan to
vote. It will have to be implemented. This would be the absolute last
option. But we are nowhere near that right now. Gen. Kayani certainly has
no such thing in mind according to people who have met him. READ
Doubts Emerge of Mullah Baradar's
'Capture'
While the New
York Times claims on its front page this morning 'Secret
Joint Raid Captures Taliban’s Top Commander' - the Afghan
Taliban have apparently denied it as an 'enemy trick', adding that
Mullah Baradar was safe in Afghanistan. Later this afternoon, Pakistani
Interior Minister Rehman
Malik also denied any knowledge of Mullah Baradar's capture and called
it 'propaganda'.
The
Unabated Freedom Fight Goes
On
The Afghan resistance against
the oppressors is actually a freedom struggle. A retaliation against the
US “terrorists” who consider it their birth right to go and occupy a weak
nation and crush them for the fruition of their sinister goals. But they
never learn from history and they never realize that its not always that
their evil designs will work and if they gear up to oppress, suppress and
torture other nations just for their ugly purposes, then they are bound to
fall over their faces. That’s what happened to them in Vietnam and that is
what is happening to them in Afghanistan. Taliban, the freedom fighters
are getting stronger by the day and the terrorists from the US and NATO
are facing defeat everyday. The Taliban Mujahideen tore apart a superpower
previously and they can do it again. This won’t stop until they give up,
throw their weapons and leave Afghanistan disgracefully. Watch

Takmeel-e-Pakistan
Movement’ is the struggle to make Pakistan the nation that was
envisioned by Allama Iqbal and conceived by Quaid-e-Azam. Pakistan was
supposed to be one of the greatest nations on earth, and a leader amongst
comity of nations. This was the resolve of our founding fathers, and
father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam. We achieved the first part of
Iqbal’s dream on August 14th 1947 by establishing Pakistan; however the
full realization of this dream has now become our necessity. It’s the need
of the hour because now it is time to bring the change this nation has
been craving, and work towards the ‘completion’ of Pakistan – as Iqbal and
Jinnah had envisioned it.
Our mission is to revive
Allama Iqbal’s Ideology amongst the people of Pakistan. To wake them up
and to join hands in reviving and implementing the original resolutions
and nation building guidelines of Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal and other
founding fathers. We need to revive the zeal and enthusiasm that was on
display on the historic day of March 23rd 1940. We can do it again and
Inshallah we will.
March 23rd 2010 – Minar-e-Pakistan,
Lahore – 70 years from the passing of Pakistan Resolution, the
people of Pakistan have decided to recreate the same moment and to write
their names in history by passing the ‘Takmeel-e-Pakistan’ resolution and
reviving the true spirit of Pakistan’s creation; to carry it out its
‘takmeel’, or completion.
Pakistan needs us today.
This soil has been enriched with the blood of those who laid down their
lives for the defense of this nation. We will not let down this sacred
soil. We will not go down, we must rise and Inshallah we will rise. For
