Hi all, I hope that the summer treated everyone well and that you're
all enjoying your fall class schedule. I don't want to wait too long
to start talking about our first meeting.

At our first meeting we have some important things to cover:

We need to discuss having elections. (Time and place and medium and
nominations).
We need to discuss the upcoming International Collegiate Programming
Competition.
We also should talk about holding the 1400 level programming
competition again this year
And finally decide if we should join our meetings with IEEE again this
year, (they have extended the invitation).

But first I need to know who on this list is still interested in ACM.
If you are I need to you respond to this message and let me know what
nights of the week you would be available to attend ACM meeting.

Thanks,
Adam Gehringer

I'm interested, nights are variable between school/work.

I am interested in ACM. I understand that reasoning for it but I am not a fan of having our meeting with IEEE unless we get our meeting in first so I wouldn't need to attend the IEEE meeting. Either way I am free every weeknight after 6:45.

I'm still interested in the participating in the competition and helping to run the 1400 competition.
If the group would prefer to not join IEEE's meeting, I would ask that they don't overlap. There are several members that do both.

You're welcome to do so. You should talk with Patrick, though, because
he usually handles this.

I certainly wouldn't mind your help. I'll have to check to see how that would work on the contest level.
