An equivalent to emerge's --color y.

Ability to force colorized formatting when doing, f.ex.

pmerge -p package | tee file

This came up on Gentoo forums.

Comment:

Eh... no. if someone really wants it, they have to reopen w/ a patch- we
use terminfo, so it's not quiet as simple as just throwing some extra
characters in, we also have to know the TERM from it.

Comment:

--color y is now available to all pkgcore.util.commandline consumers
(basically everything). bzr rev 4209 of my branch (will land in
integration soon enough).
