It'd be nice to have a way to just pull a package from VCS. Can just have
a set of mappings of upstream-vcs-revision -> our-package-revision.

I’d love to go a bit further still, just being able to call

pmerge app-editors/emacs-vcs:::<rev>

(or similar)

“I want revision <rev> of the package”.
