About the groups!

Dear group members.
Diane did try and have me take over the groups a time back. Unfortunately, she was incapacitated and could give me no help with the passwords I had before Google did a purge of groups. My passwords no longer worked. So I could not get in either the PKD or PLD list sites to moderate them.
I also fully expected Diane to bounce back as she had had a habit of doing that. Therefore I underestimated her illness.
It was an entire shock to get mail from her husband, who I had been mailing with that week, that she had died. It is still sinking in!
I, therefore, for the moment have to say that although the groups will run, they will not be moderated. This can be tricky. Moderating keeps a lot of riffraff and advertisers out and nips arguments in the bud. So unfortunately there is that risk.
The mail groups began to dwindle in the main due to social media like Facebook etc.
It is arguable that something like Facebook also offers mail grouping via its messenger as well as its media group pages.
I will give access another shot next week when I revive an old password programme and try it on Google. But otherwise, the groups are lost to administration lockout!

Hello Michael,
I am so sad to learn the news about Beloved Diane. 😭
For all those years she was so supportive of all of us. Plus she always had great advice during my days before my transplant. She is now with the Angels and with God. May her soul be blessed!
As Vicki wrote please give us his contact email and name as I would like to express my condolences.

Dear Vicki
I do not have his permission to do that, yet I can forward it to him if you send it to me. Imagine he has a lot of traffic right now. Diane was wildly popular and had masses of good friends.
