softHSM(PKCS#11)Know How

Hi, Can some one gimme the basic Know How of pkcs#11(softHSM).
I need to know info like data encryption and decryption flow. Key retrieving ffrom softHSM to application for decryption purpose.

In general you can start by reading at least "Chapter 2 - Scope", "Chapter 6 - General overview" and "Chapter 10 - Objects" of PKCS#11 v2.20 specification [0] (or equivalent chapters of any previous or subsequent specification version). You can then continue by installing SoftHSM for Windows [1] and using it with Pkcs11Interop code samples [2] which cover also encryption/decryption scenarios.
