Our major Apostrophe plugins now each have a 1.2 branch in svn for
those who must maintain Symfony 1.2 backwards compatibility in their
projects:

pkContextCMSPlugin
http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkContextCMSPlugin/branches/1.2
pkToolkitPlugin
http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkToolkitPlugin/branches/1.2
pkMediaPlugin http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkMediaPlugin/branches/1.2
pkMediaCMSSlotsPlugin
http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkMediaCMSSlotsPlugin/branches/1.2

The cmstest project - NOT the cmstest13 project - now points to these
branches instead of the trunks. The cmstest13 project continues to
point to the trunks, so we can make progress toward 1.4 compatibility
there. Symfony 1.3 supports everything Symfony 1.4 supports, so our
efforts to be 1.4 compatible will not disturb your use of 1.3.

SYMFONY 1.2 INCOMPATIBLE CHANGES WILL SOON BEGIN TO APPEAR IN THE
TRUNKS OF THE PLUGINS. Our strong recommendation to you is to upgrade
your projects to Symfony 1.3 and keep using the trunk - it's not very
hard, use the project:upgrade1.3 task to get started, but note that if
you are using Doctrine migrations you'll need to make some changes for
Doctrine 1.2 (we bumped into that today).

If you DON'T want to upgrade to Symfony 1.3, you will need to change
your svn:externals for the plugins folder to point to these branches
instead of to the trunk for each plugin.

From now on only critical bug fixes will be appearing in the 1.2
branches. To take advantage of new features, you should definitely
migrate to Symfony 1.3.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys - but this will ultimately be a big
improvement for everyone. Symfony 1.3/1.4 is full of great stuff we're
looking forward to working with.

Thanks as always for using Apostrophe!

Whoops, Alex pointed out a goof on my part. I referred to a project
called cmstest13 which you won't find in our repository. Sorry for any
confusion.

The correct location for the 1.3-ready branch of our sandbox project is:

http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkContextCMSPlugin/sandbox/branches/1.3

That is a Symfony 1.3 project with the trunk versions of our plugins.

The svnforeigncopy script can be used to recreate that project in your
own repository.

This information is already in the pkContextCMS README in svn (not in
a tarball release yet, but you really should be using svn - we
recommend installing that way, so does Fabien).
