*********PLEASE FORWARD************

STOP  THIS SALE!
On  Sunday March 18th, The Amana Settlement Movemen will come  to Boca Raton
and North Miami to sell homes on occupied Palestinian territory.  Meet us across the street from The Shul of Bal Harbour, 9540 Collins Avenue in Surfside/North Miami  Beach at 4pm  to protest.

Protest sponsored by the Palestinian-Jewish Initiative for Justice and Peace, South Florida pjinit...@gmail.com.

ISRAELI  SETTLEMENTS ARE  ILLEGAL & DISCRIMINATORY
ISRAELI  SETTLEMENTS ARE  ILLEGAL UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW
The Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits an occupying power from  transferring civilians from its own territory into occupied territory, and from  creating permanent changes in the occupied territory that do not benefit the occupied population. All Israeli settlements in the West Bank including those in East Jerusalem violate the Fourth Geneva Convention and constitute a war crime,  according to UN Security Council Resolution 465, the International Court of  Justice, most governments, and major human rights organizations like Amnesty
International, Human Rights Watch and the Israeli organization B'Tselem. The US government affirmed this position throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
REJECT  DISCRIMINATION IN PALESTINE, ISRAEL AND FLORIDA
Though built on Palestinian land, Israeli settlements are reserved exclusively for Jewish people. Israel prevents Palestinians from living on this property because of their ethnicity and religion. If any of South Florida's Palestinian or  other non-Jewish citizens attempt to
buy settlement property, it is likely that  they will be rejected. Such discriminatory sales practices should not be  tolerated in Florida.
Two similar events will be held on March 18th earlier in the  day in Boca Raton, Florida. Local groups and individuals may also want to  protest these events:
The first event begins at 9:30 AM at Chabad of Boca Raton, on 17950 Military Trail in Boca Raton, Florida.

The next  event, also in Boca Raton, will begin at 12:00 PM at Boca Tov Cafe (Dairy  Cholov Yisroel), at 21065 Powerline Road.
