Hey, this is the latest update. a bunch of us shall be meeting up at
Umoja Village to discuss our plans with the community. I shall be on
FIU north campus at 11:00am to pick up anyone who would like to catch
a ride. We shall be discussing our ideas and going over details of
the demonstration. Try to be there between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

WHERE: UMOJA VILLAGE
Address: N.W. 62nd street and N.W. 17th Avenue (on the corner)
If you can't make it, then listen up! There are other ways you can help out.
1) HELP US WITH CONSTRUCTION. When? SUNDAY, February 18th @ 6:00pm.
Where? FIU-south campus in front of the Atrium (outside of Graham
Center)
2) CONTACT THE MEDIA. Please forward this and previous e-mails to
local and national media so that we can maximize the amount of media
focused on umoja village.
3) DONATE BOOKS. We are going to create a library at Umoja Villlage.
So you can drop off books at the site at FIU-south campus. We shall be
there from Monday Feb. 19th--Feb. 21st. We shall be sleeping in the
mock shantytown so you can come at any hour and donate it to someone
there.
