23 July: Chimps Bar Hop: First beer will be at Tan Bar at 18:00 pm.
Led By: Pussy Snatcher & Jellobutt, Theme: The Pandemic Bar Hop
Details: The Pandemic Bar Hop will be the kickoff event for the Pandemic Weekend Festival.
Note the date change from Wednesday to Thursday.
The Pandemic Bar Hop will start at Tan Bar on Thursday at 6pm. Tan Bar is one of several open air beer bars on Soi 11 off of Buakhao. We’ll hang an HHH sign to make the bar easy to spot. Other stops on the Pandemic Bar Hop will be up to the group, but we probably won’t be straying far from the area as drink prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly.
On Friday the festivities continue with the Pandemic Monkey Pre-Lube at Sutus Court on Soi Buakhao. Meet at 6pm to enjoy a steady flow of drinks and good conversation. All are welcome.
Then on Saturday, if the hares aren’t too hung over, is the Pandemic Monkey Run. Meet at 10:30am at the Boxing Roo on 3rd Road for a great day of hashing. A reminder, this is a men only hash and you have to register to attend by 22 July.
No sign up - pay as you go. Drink at your own pace.

List Of Hashers That Have Not Hared A Run
The Jungle Hare Line now has a list of hashers who have been on a Jungle run in the last two years, but have not hared a run. If your name is on the list, please consider giving back to the Jungle by haring one of the open run dates.
You can check the @JungleHareLinePage for run dates in need of a hare.
Register to a hare a Jungle or Lunar run using the Jungle/Lunar Hare Line Registration Form or by contacting either of the Hare Raisers, @JungleHareRaiserName1 or @JungleHareRaiserName2 at @JungleEmail.
Further Incentive to Hare a Run
The Jungle has an additional condition for receiving a run award. In addition to completing 25 runs to reach the next award level, the hasher must also have hared at least one run of the 25 runs to receive their run award. If the hasher did not hare a run in that time period, the award will be held until they have added their name to the hare line to hare an upcoming run.
A Sites And Restricted Areas Map
The Jungle website now has an A Sites And Restricted Areas Map. The map displays all past & future A-Sites, along with known restricted areas. It also indentifies A-Sites for future runs that may be too close to each other or a restricted area. The map is also useful for hares planning which area to use for their run as it displays A-Sites that have not been used recently, and are not near any A-Sites selected for upcoming runs.
If you know of, or become aware of restricted areas, or areas where we need to seek permission, please send the relevant information to @JungleEmail.
The map information is also saved in a Google Earth file and is available for download at Google Earth File Of Hash Trails. To ensure the Google Earth file has the most recent trails, please send and email to @JungleEmail to request the file be updated.

Upcoming Jungle Events
04 August: Jungle Mismanagement Meeting: All are welcome and encouraged to attend - Drinking & Meeting starts @ 18:00 pm at Sutus Court. (Monkey mismanagement meeting @ 17:30 pm)
AOB Agenda Items
- Change the Jungle run day from Sunday to Saturday. The reason being with a non-run day between the PJH3 runs and PH3 runs more hashers would attend both hashes.
- Add a raffle to the circle activities to increase revenue
- Options for accommodating the non-drinking hashers
- Discussion on the appropriate amount of beer to bring for each run. Currently it's based on an expected avg of 4 bottles per signup, but during low season signups are weighted towards the hashers who drink more than the expected avg.
Ahead of next Tuesday’s mismanagement meeting it would be good if Jungle hashers consider the following points before voting whether to change the Jungle runs from Sunday to Saturday. If you would like to discuss these points, and/or offer up additional points to consider, please post a comment on our Jungle FB group page (link).
We’re now averaging around 50 - 60 hashers on a Jungle run. If there is an increase in attendance, will that improve or detract from the quality of the circle and runs?
Will changing the run day from Sunday to Saturday benefit the Jungle or PH3 more? Or will a non-run day between the Jungle and Monday runs mean more people will attend PH3 runs rather than the other way around?
It has been mentioned there are several PH3 hashers that would attend Jungle runs if they were on Saturdays. Who are these hashers so we can have a metric to track whether or not the proposed run day change was successful.
One positive to the change mentioned in FB posts are hares for a PH3 run would avoid a conflict with trail laying duties on a Sunday if the Jungle were on a Saturday. Keep in mind the PH3 hares have the option of choosing a run date that doesn’t follow a Jungle Sunday run, and they also have the option of laying their trail on a Saturday.
As Bangkok H3 runs on a Saturday, we will lose the attendance of those runners.
Financially, the Jungle will take a hit with this change if it results in more people using the baht bus as the bus subsidy is 87B/person. Also, if the increase in attendance means more people drinking more than the budgeted average of 4 beers/person that will also negatively impact the Jungle bottom line.
Another financial hit will be the loss of Rags sales as Diddy Dicker has stated he will not attend runs if they are on a Saturday.
Are there any volunteers to take over Rags sales, which also means having a vehicle to transport Rags inventory to the A-Site?
Pussy Snatcher will continue as brewmaster and pull the needed beer and softie stock from inventory the morning of the run, but since he will only occasionally attend Saturday runs a new run logistics volunteer will be needed.
The run logistics volunteer will need to be on hand beginning at noon on the run day to take delivery and pay for the ice. When the transport trucks arrive around 1:30pm the volunteer will need to assist with the loading of trucks, and once loaded ride with one of the trucks to help the driver navigate to the A-Site. After the run the volunteer will need to ride one of the trucks back to Pattaya and assist in unloading of the trucks.
Do we have any volunteers to take over run logistics?
If no run logistic volunteer is found, then the Jungle will take another financial hit as that means the Jungle will have to pay to outsource those duties.
When it comes time to vote, remember the primary concern when deciding whether or not to change the run day, does it benefit the Jungle and do the pros of making the change outweigh the cons.
Meeting Location: Sutus Court (Marker ID "M" In Center Of Map Below)
