PJH3 Mismanagement Meeting Minutes

• Meeting called to order at 18:00 hrs

• Take last meeting minutes as read.
  
  

• Jungle Finances:
  Cash and assets increased by 3,856 baht from previous run which includes hash rags sold. Total sign ups were 78 an increase of 17 hashers from previous run. Average units of beer were 4.2. Bus utilization was 98% with 39 hashers. 50% of the hashers drove their own vehicles.
  
  

• Previous Runs: Good trails, fun caking with plenty of condiments. Nice feed, active circle.
  
  

• Chimps Night Out/Bar Hop: About 8 to 10 people attended. Some regular chimps were not there due to illness. Chimps found some new bars. The hash sponsored 200 baht for the baht bus that took them to Jomtien. Next Chimps Hop is January 23, meet Boomerang Bar at 18:00.
  
  

• Jungle Irregular Lunar Run: Nothing planned. See AFC if you want to hare a run.
  
  

• Rags: All good. Well stocked.

• Website/FB: On the website there is now a new "hare helper" view that allows hares to find "A" site recommendations (link). The map for hares provides sites that have not been used for 6 months within a 2km radius and at least 1 km from a restricted area.

• Hare Line: Condition Green. Next open run is 7 April, 2019. See The Wizard and/or AFC if you wish to hare a run.
  
  

• General Business:
  - Next run (January 6) is expected to have perhaps as much as 130 hashers attending. The food expense has been increased by 1000 baht to provide extra servings. Hashers are encouraged to bring their own chairs and our inventory is limited. The hares for the run will need to purchase additional snacks and fruit. Any additional cost over 300B will be reimbursed out of the additional 1000B approved for food.

- Cannonball brought up the San Miguel issue asking mismanagement to reconsider its intention of stopping orders of this beer in the near future due to an increase of costs. The carton has gone up in price by 200 baht. Leo and Chang are a cheaper brew by the carton. A vote was arranged and the results were 5 against buying more San Miguel, 3 in keeping the orders, and 2 abstained. So, the motion continues to be in effect and when the hash runs of out of its current stock no more orders will be procured, unless the cost can be lowered.

- Cannonball also asked if the hash could consider asking On On bars, such as the Buffalo Bar, to host our after circle parties with food. Mismanagement didn't show much interest in the extra task as history demonstrated the results were not very favorable.  Also, hashers enjoy eating at the "A" site immediately after the run and not wait until 8:30pm for feed.

Thanks to the Boomerang Bar and Diddy Dicker for hosting the mismanagement meeting and providing chicken finger food to go along with our Leos.

As a side note: mention was made that next Xmas dinner we should consider a buffet style meal instead of a sit down plate.
