A PJH3 public service announcement in support of the

Pattaya Food Relief Charity Walk

100,000 step challenge. Monday 11 May.

In order to continue supporting the programme of food hand outs in Pattaya, Pattaya Hash House Harriers brings you....

100,000 STEP CHALLENGE! 👣👣👣

The concept is that 3 of our PH3 hashers will walk a combined total of 100,000 steps in one day, in fact, before lunchtime (13.00 hrs) and that our fellow hashers, friends and families can pledge/promise cash donations for the cause before the event, payment on the proviso that the challenge is completed...
(A sponsored walk for those who are familiar with the idea).

The 3 intrepid hashers will be Sperm Polluter, Dirt Looney and The Wizard who will take up the challenge on Monday 11th May. They will be using our Garmin GPS watches to record our steps.

They will once again donate ALL money raised by this effort to feed the needy in Pattaya via the Norwegian Church who have been doing outstanding work in the community, last Thursday providing food parcels to 2000 hungry people.

If you would like to make a donation to this cause you can do so by either giving cash to any of the 3 walkers or by making a bank transfer to one of The Wizard's bank accounts, details of which he will give to anyone that asks, via a personal message.

All monies will be accounted for and published. However if you want to make an anonymous donation, your name can be withheld.
We would request that all pledges be honoured and payments made before Friday May 15th.

Here are the details of the route they will be walking.

If you're in the area, give them a cheer, a beer, or even better a donation as they walk for a good cause.

They are breaking our walk into 3 sections, each one starting and finishing at the Police Box on Dongtan beach, at the bottom of Theppraya Rd.

Section 1.

Departure 06.00 hrs. Length approx 7 km

Via Rhompo Market, Soi 17 on to Pratumnak Soi 4 and back down the beach.

Section 2

Departure 07.15. Length approx 12 km

Down Beach Rd to the very end of Jomtien Beach Rd (Pupen Restaurant) and back via Soi Chaiyaphreuk and 2nd Rd

Section 3

Departure 10.00 hrs. Length approx 7km

2nd Rd to Soi Chaiyaphreuk, down to the beach then along the beach to the end! We hope to finish around 11.20 - 11.30

If you plan on coming down to encourage them you will be more than welcome..... Just be mindful that we still have to abide by social distancing measures!
