Co-Hares Needed: The Hare Line is in great shape with one open date on 2 July and the next open date is 6 August. We had an unexpected opening for 2 April, but that date got quickly snapped up by our newest hasher, Peter Briggs. He has his own transport, but would like an experienced co-hare to help him out. Also, Bananas is also looking for a co-hare for his 70th birthday run on 20 August. Contact the Hare Raiser, AFC if you can help as co-hare, or if you want one to grab one of the open dates.

19 February: Run #365: Hares: Paprika Smiley, Arseaholic, Diddy Dicker

22 February: Chimps Bar Hop: First beer will be at the Boomerang Bar at 6 pm. No sign up - Pay as you go. Look at Hash notice board for the names of the night's bars. Drink at your own pace. There is no food stop on Bar Hops.

Sunday, 30 July: Run #378: Jungle Outstation Run, Koh Si Chang, Hares: Jellobutt & Sperm Polluter

Tentative Itinerary

Sunday

 9 am: Hash transport to Si Racha

10 am: Ferry from Si Racha to Koh Si Chang

 Noon: Check in guest house about 200m from ferry dock

 2 pm: Start Outstation Run (~10km trail, A to B, finish other side of island on a really nice beach)

 4 pm: Circle followed by a catered dinner on the beach

 9 pm: Transport back to hotel

Monday

    9 am: Ferry from Koh Si Chang to Si Racha

10:30 am: Hash transport Si Racha to Pattaya

Jellobutt will recon the area in February to see what is feasible and what the current costs are. Once that is done a signup fee will be announced. To help the hares gauge the level of interest in a Jungle Outstation Run, please use this link to register your interest in an outstation run.

Hare Line And Trail Advice

The hare line health is once again in good health. Next open date is 2 July. If you have never hared a run, or have not hared recently, please contact the Hare Raiser, AFC.

For those that have never hared a run or have not hared in a long time, expect increasing pressure from your fellow hashers to step up and grab an open date.

For trail planning, contact Pussy Snatcher for help on selecting an A-site and/or planning your trail. With a bit of armchair trail planning using Google Earth haring has never been easier.

Important Notice To Hares

The PJH3 maintains an online map of known restricted areas, as well as areas where the landowner has requested we contact them before using. It is the hares responsibility to check this map to ensure your trail does not encroach on any known restricted areas. Here is the link to the map.
