Announcing A New Hash Kennel - Bangkok Bush H3

[Jungle Hash]

The Bangkok Bush H3 will be holding their inaugural run on 12 August. Hares for run #1 are Drunkin’ Donut and Pussy Virus.

There is no run fee and there will be a Bangkok Bush Hash T-shirt for all participants who register by 6 August.

There will be a short trail of about an hour and for those who are up to it, a long trail of two hours or more. All trails will be on soft surface in hills and forest and there will also be, especially on the long run, some off-trail bush bashing. On the long run there will be at least one drink stop where the hares will make water available. Hashers are encouraged to also bring their own hydration drinks, especially on the long run. 

The hares will not organize food or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) for the group. Everyone will need to bring their own food and drinks for consumption after the run, and in the circle. It is our hope that everyone will bring different food and drinks, and that we can share with our friends.

The hares will organize a traditional Hash circle after the run where we will do our best to erase any lasting positive health impact of the day’s exercise. There will also be an opportunity for everyone to cool down in the circle on the ice.

A-site location is the Khao Kiew reservoir Chonburi, about 45 km north of Pattaya. Run starts at 3 pm.

In support of the newest addition to the Hashing community, the Pattaya Jungle H3 will be organizing transport to their first run. Cost of the transportation to be shared. Baht buses will depart at 13:30 pm from the usual pickup point, the Buffalo Bar.

Since this is a bring your own everything hash, we need to allow space for those bringing small coolers, baskets of food, chairs and all the other accutrements required for a hash run. Therefore we will hire baht buses based on 8 hashers/bus. We'll have no trouble filling the first bus, but to keep the maximum cost per hasher below 300B we will need at least 6 hashers for each additional bus hired.

To keep the collection of money simple, the deposit to secure your place on the bus will be 300B/hasher. Once we know the final count and costs, you'll be refunded the difference. Pussy Snatcher will handle the collection of transport fees. Deadline for signing up for transport and paying will be 6 August.
