Jungle Hare Line And Trail Advice
Please check the Jungle Hare Line for run dates in need of a hare.
You can register to a hare a Jungle or Lunar run using the Jungle/Lunar Hare Line Registration Form or by contacting either of the Hare Raisers, AFC or The Wizard at contac...@gmail.com.
Further Incentive to Hare a Run
In light of the continuing problem to fill the hare line schedule, mismanagement has approved an additional condition for receiving a run award. In addition to completing 25 runs to reach the next award level, the hasher must also have hared at least one run of the 25 runs to receive their run award. If the hasher did not hare a run in that time period, the award will be held until they have added their name to the hare line to hare an upcoming run.
All Hash A Sites - Future & Past
When looking for an A-Site it’s useful to look to see where recent hashes have run or will be used in the future. That information can be found on the All Hash A Sites - Future & Past page. A complete record of all hash trails since 2011 is available for download at Google Earth File Of Hash Trails.
A Site Recommendations
We now have another map avaiable to help hares select an area for their run. This map displays A-Sites that haven't been used in at least six months, are no closer than 2 km to an A-Site that has been used in the last six months, and is at least 1 km from a restricted area. This map can be found on the A Site Recommendations page.
Important Notice To Hares - Restricted Areas
The PJH3 maintains an online map of known restricted areas, as well as areas where the landowner has requested we contact them before using. It is the hares responsibility to check this map to ensure your trail does not encroach on any known restricted areas. The map can be found on the Restricted Areas Map page.
If you know of, or become aware of restricted areas, or areas where we need to seek permission, please send the relevant information to contac...@gmail.com.

Run Report By: Arse Bandit
So there's a live hare....Cannonball was seen running past the A-site with lots of paper just before we started... Cannonball???? Yes so it was going to be a short hash then.
Off we went, one check, two checks, three checks and still no sign of Cannonball........
Oh the run was mainly on trail with some "shiggy" thrown in but when I came to a steep sided gorge and I had to crouch under the roots of a semi upturned tree I realized that Cannonball must have gone for a crap and not been the hare.
Having 20 hashers taking over 10 minutes to find paper at a check that had about ten moto X tracks in front of it was mildly funny but only after the run was completed and got my breath back (I had left it halfway up the last hill).
When is a waterfall not a waterfall? Yes you've guessed it
When there's no water.
Nobody got lost..... So it must have been well papered thank ex G.M's or should I say yanks for a good hard jungle run.

Run Report By: Bam Bam
Here we are in an area that your scribe has laid many runs in the past, but it looks oh so different!!
Motorway smack through the middle of it has pretty much destroyed what used to be a great area for laying trails and instead of a nice A site by a small lake, we find ourselves camped under the motorway on a road to nowhere.
It would a little later prove to be almost as busy as Beach Rd with cars, motor bikes and a herd of cattle charging through the circle on a regular basis.
The serenity was also being constantly broken by the sound of Parasails buzzing around in the skies above until it got dark.
The Trail, best described as “What Trail” according to the FRB’s who were back in 45 mins.
The supposed trail started with 700 mts of black top at which point the 8.5 kms of runners trail split from the 5 kms of walkers trail, supposedly.
It was just a flat as a tack, flat out, only 2 checks, boy racers trail, that induced much finger pointing and accusations that G.I. Joe had short cutted 5 metres off a corner which made the FRB’s take the Walkers trail having missed the sparsely placed paper for the runners trail.
Even the hares were blaming each other at first, Arse Bandit saying the 6 miles that Atomic Muff diver had on his GPS was actually 6 kms.
Dirt Looney was so upset about not getting his moneys worth, decided to go back out and figure out what had gone wrong and found the On Out for the Runners trail from the Runners Walkers split.
All in all a shitty trail declared the mob in the 2nd circle, all but G.I. Joe that is, who said it was a great trail because he didn’t get lost and finished ahead of Jellobutt.
The next trail will have no such problems.
