PJH3 Mismanagement Meeting Minutes

5 June 2018 at Corner Bar


Present: Jellobutt, Sperm Polluter, Diddy Dicker, Pussy Snatcher, Bam Bam, Rumble Foreskin, AFC, Crapper, Doesn't Cum Often, Jackal, The Wizard


  • Meeting called to order at 18:00 hrs

  • Take last meeting minutes as read.

  • Jungle Finances:
    The hash continues to lose money each month at an average of 2,100 baht per run. Last run (#397) the hash lost 3,152 baht. This has been going on for several years and appears to be a trend. Currently the cash balance is at 70,786 baht which is 4,000 baht below the minimum balance of 75,000 baht. This 75,000 baht is a threshold amount at which point the hash needs to either increase revenue, decrease expenses, or both. This amount was again voted to be the threshold amount before action.  There was some discrepancy on the balance sheet that Snatcher provided regarding "change since last meeting" and "YTD average this year". Snatcher will get back to mismanagement with an update on those figures. See AOB below for further discussion on finances.

    Cash and Assets increased 2,550B from the prior month

  • Previous Runs: Mismanagement agreed that the AGM run was fantastic. Lightning was right on cue. Plenty of rain to keep all happy. Run #397 on the other hand could of been improved. Mismanagement pointed out that if the hares intend to change course on trial then a more direct statement of change would be in order, such as; laying paper towards the direction of change intended, or placing a red arrow pointing the correct trail direction. It's dangerous to lay paper going "On In" close to the "On Out" paper which may confuse the runners. Otherwise, all else was fine.

    Reminder to hares: Please take into consideration sunset time and travel time from Pattaya to the A-site when planning trail length. We would like for all runners and walkers to have a chance to finish the trail before twilight.

  • Chimps Night Out/Bar Hop: The next Chimps Bar Hop will be on 20 June starting from Boomerang Bar at 18.00hrs.

  • Jungle Irregular Lunar Run: Next run is July 13, Friday night. Bam Bam will contact Dodic to see if he will be able to hare that run. Jellobutt agreed to co-hare a live run with Dodic. If Dodic is unable to hare that night, Jellobutt and Snatcher will be the live hares (hahaha). "A" site is TBA.

  • Rags: All cool


  • Website/FB: All cool

  • Hare Line: Code Orange, meaning August 5th is the next open date, hares needed. Mismanagement voted that we will no longer have a 3rd Sunday of the month run. It is getting difficult to find hares to fill up 2 Sundays per month as is.  Bam Bam will remove this run from the website. Sperm Polluter and company will hare Nov. 4th run.

  • General Business:
    - The idea of a theme run called "the Trash Hash" was thrown around. Hashers would bring garbage bags with them on the run and collect trash as they run. It's up to the hares to organize.

    - Run Awards: Mismanagement voted that in order for a hasher to receive an award, which occurs after every 25 runs, they must of hared a run within that time period. This will encourage more hares to step forward if they want their award and to be recognized. If the hasher did not hare a run in that time period they will get their award anytime after they hare.
    - 400th run on July 15. Big weekend. Lunar run on the 13th to kick off events. We will have a boat fishing trip on July 14th. Leave Bali Hai pier at 9am sharp back by 16:00. BOB, food, and boat cost will be shared. Sperm Polluter will bring beer for Jellobutt (and he drinks a lot). Snatcher will create a spreadsheet on the website to handle registration so we will know numbers. Snatcher will also contact Colonel Cornhole to make sure he is still on board with haring on the day. We will offer C. Cornhole a co-hare if needed. We are interested to know when C. Cornhole will arrive in Pattaya so we can help him prepare. There is no limit to the numbers for this run, open registration. Jellobutt will provide a 400th anniversary cake. The On On bar will be at the Blue Healer organized by The Wizard.

    - Finances: As mentioned above, the hash agrees to either raise revenues, decrease expenses, or both to cover the 2,000 baht plus shortfall each run.. After going through a list of options available, three viable solutions remained:
    1) increase fees to 400B for men, 200B for women, 100B for children
    2) leave signup fee as is, but charge 100 baht per baht bus rider
    3) reduce men fees to 300 baht and charge 150 baht per baht bus rider

    Snatcher will work out the figures for all three options and send out to mismanagement for discussion and advice. Option 3 was very accepted if the numbers work out positively. Requires careful scrutiny.
