PJH3 Mismanagement Meeting Minutes

4 April 2017 at M-Club

Present: Pussy Snatcher, Bam Bam, AFC, Parika Smiley, Diddy Dicker, Arseaholic, Flying Finn, Sperm Polluter, Arse Bandit, Sugar Daddy

• Pussy Snatcher called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.

• Take last meeting minutes as read.
  
  

• Jungle Finances: Bam Bam.
  Finances continue to be in good shape. There is a decrease in Cash and Assets from the prior month of about B4,700 due run losses and a stock take of current inventory.
  
  

• Previous Runs: Good trails, food and circle entertainment. Attendance has been great too.
  
  Reminder to hares: Please take into consideration sunset time and travel time from Pattaya to the A-site when planning trail length. We would like for all runners and walkers to have a chance to finish the trail before twilight.
  
  

• Chimps Night Out/Bar Hop: Last Bar Hop had good attendance. Next Bar Hop is on 26 April. Diddy Dicker will be on holiday for the next Bar Hop, but the Chimps will be capably lead by AFC.

• Jungle Irregular Lunar Run: Lunar Run hare line is open. Anyone interested in haring a Lunar Run, please contact the Lunar GM, AFC.
  
  

• Rags: Rags sales remain good. Planning on a restock of inventory in preparation for sales at TNH 2017.  Thanks to Lord Lucan for helping out with Rags while Diddy Dicker is away on holiday.

• Website/FB: Up to date. Bam Bam has completed a rewrite of the most active Jungle pages to a  mobile friendly version. A lot of work went into this endeavor. A big thank you to Bam Bam for the time and effort put into this rewrite.
  
  

• Hare Line: The hare line health is in great shape. Next open run date is 2 July. A reminder that while the 5th Sunday in a month is no longer a regularly scheduled Jungle Hash day, those days remain available if for some reason a prospective hare wishes to hare a run on a 5th Sunday.
  
  Reminder for those that lack transport for haring a run, the Jungle now has a loaner motorbike available for hares. Contact G.I. Joe if you would like to use the motorbike.
  
  

• General Business:
  - AGPU Dinner: Town In Town will host the dinner. Quoted price of 450B/adult, 225B/children. Waiting on official quote from property. Will start taking dinner reservations and payment after Songkran.
  
  - AGPU Awards: Please send suggestions for award categories to contac...@gmail.com. A couple of weeks prior to the AGPU dinner we’ll open up nominations for awards.
  
  - Circle food reimbursement: It was agreed to keep the current, high season reimbursement amount at a maximum of B2,000 until such time run attendance dips below 60 signups. Once attendance drops below that number, future runs will be allowed a maximum reimbursement of  B1,500 until next high season. Hares, if you’re hosting a special run and would like an increase in the food budget, please approach mismanagement. Reminder to hares circle food reimbursement does not cover after run fruit and chips.
  
  Approved, reimbursement of 2,000B for Philippines Independence Day run and 4,000B for St. George’s Day run.
  
  - Run Date Changes: Reminder of the following date changes.
  11 June changed to Saturday, 3 June due to the large number of hashers that will be away for the Monkey outstation run. As  Saturday, 3 June is the run date for the TNH, it was agreed to make this also a Jungle run. Hashers wishing to attend just the run and circle will need to pay the normal Jungle run fee in advance and no later than 2 June. Signups on the run day will not be allowed. Normal baht bus run transport for Jungle hashers will be available at the regular, Buffalo Bar pickup point. Pussy Snatcher will handle the advance signups. We’ll also cross reference the THN attendees with the Jungle member list so those paying for and attending THN will also receive run credit for the Jungle run on that day.
  
  5 November changed to 29 October due to the large number of hashers that will be away for the Indochina Mekong Hash.
  
  - Call For Volunteers: Jackal and Jellobutt have volunteered to serve as lead run assistants for each of the runs. That still leaves open the need for one volunteer for every run beginning in May. Duties of the run assistants include loading/unloading of beer, softies, table and chairs and A-site set up. Volunteers will ride the transport from the storage location, currently Pussy Snatcher’s house, to the A-site and back again at the conclusion of the run. This is a minimal time commitment and an opportunity for every Jungle hasher to help at least once each year in the logistics of hosting our bi-weekly Jungle runs.   To help our run assistant volunteers navigate to run A-sites, it would be most helpful if they had a GPS. If anybody has a portable, dash mounted GPS they would like to donate to the Jungle, please contact mismanagement.
