5 April: Run #314, Hares: Hobbit & My Precious

7 April: Jungle Mismanagement Meeting @ 6 pm, All welcome! Viking Bar - Cnr 3rd Rd & Soi 19

8 April: Fishing & Swimming Day Out, Boat leaves from Bali Hai Pier at 09:00 am sharp and will return late afternoon. After a couple of hours of fishing we'll spend a couple more hours anchored off a Koh Larn beach for swimming, drinking and eating. No advance signups, just show up and board. Cost of boat rental to be shared. The boat will have eskies with ice, hand lines for fishing, and a fryer to cook whatever you catch. IMPORTANT: You will need to bring your own food and drink. If you show up empty handed, it will be a very thirsty and hungry day out for you.

24 April: Lunar Run, Hare: Pussy Snatcher, On out at 19:00 from M-Club.

26 April: Run #315, St Georges Day Run, Hares: T-A-F & Lord Lucan (Note: Run date changed to avoid Songkran)

3 May is currently w/o hares. If you haven't recently hared a run, now is your chance to raise your hand and help out. If trail planning help is needed, contact Pussy Snatcher for help on selecting an A-site and planning your trail. With a bit of armchair trail planning using Google Earth, haring has never been easier.

After 3 May the hare line is looking good. Next open dates are 2 August and then from 30 August on.

Future Run Planning

To help avoid conflicts with trails from the different Pattaya area hashes, we now have a Google Map that lists the known upcoming A-Sites and "no go" areas. This map can be viewed by clicking on this link. In cases where the hares have selected an area, but have not decided on an A-site, the general area will be listed as "A-Site TBD". Please coordinate with the other hares if you see a possible conflict with your choice of trail area.


For this map to be effective, we need the cooperation of all Pattaya hash kennels. So if you're haring a run for the Jungle, Bush or PH3, please let Pussy Snatcher know as soon as you have an area or A-site in mind, even if it's only tentative. We'll use that information to update the map so other hares know your intention to use that area.

The hare line is in great shape. Thanks to Smelly Bastard for answering the plea last week to fill the 3 May run date. Next open dates are 2 August and then from 30 August on.
