Lord Lucan Funeral Arrangements

Due to Lord Lucan's funeral on the same day as the next Jungle run, that run, the Lord Lucan Memorial Run, has been postponed until 8 March.

The Buddhist Service for Paul Eldred (Lord Lucan) will be held at Wat Ban Chang on Sunday, 1st March, commencing at 1pm.

The Cremation Service will be held across the road at Wat Ban Chang (Cemetery) Sala 5 at the conclusion of the Buddhist Ceremony, approximately 4pm.

Anyone wishing to attend the Cremation Service only should arrive between 3- 3.30pm

Attire: Black or dark color shirt, long pants if you have them, shorts ok if you don’t.

For those that would like to help with funeral costs, donation envelopes will be available at the service.

After Service Impromptu Gathering

After the service there will be an impromptu gathering of friends of Lord Lucan at the Sport Bar on The Strip, located between One Bar and Kisses Bar.

Directions coming from Pattaya/Bangkok
Entering  Ban Chang on Hway 3 (Sukhumvit) continue on past Tesco Lotus on the  right and turn right at the 2nd set of traffic lights.
The entrance to the Wat is approx 600-700m down this Soi on the left  (behind the School) and the cemetery is opposite on the right side of  the Soi.

Transport To Lord Lucan's Funeral

Baht buses to the funeral will leave depart the Buffalo Bar at 1:30pm.

Cost is 180B/person, EXACT CHANGE A MUST

Buses will leave at the conclusion of the cremation service.

So we can estimate how many buses to order, please reply to this email if you will be using baht bus transport. Also note that once everyone that has replied shows up, the baht bus will leave.
