Job Title	Senior Architect
Relevant Experience (in Yrs)	8-10 Years
Technical/Functional Skills	·         Full lifecycle (SDLC) and application development technologies: SQL databases, LDAP, Java/J2EE, web services, XML, and web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript ·         Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and related internals; storage; networking and load balancing technologies ·          Engineering/architecture principles (Object Oriented Design, Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture) and advanced application development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc).
Experience Required	>10 Years
Roles & Responsibilities	·         Design overall system and solution architecture, system integration, and implementation strategy. ·         Lead (planning, control and reporting) all aspects of the SDLC to ensure their effective performance and high quality to agreed budget and timelines including feasibility of the project, provides scoping and estimates, defining a project or problem (functional / non-functional business requirements), architecture and design and all aspects of testing. ·         Lead and mentor the Software Engineering team. Act as the primary technical contact, provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to all members of the Software Engineering team. ·         Recommend the tools / technologies / frameworks to be used for architectural components such as exception handling, error logging, archival, security framework, batch framework, rules engine, workflow ·         Evaluate and recommend the tools to be used for development and deploying the application ·         Work closely with all stakeholders including End-Users, Project Managers, Creative Directors, Software Engineers and Account Executives to ensure successful delivery of projects ·         Participate and Conduct architecture workshops ·         Plan and track the activities for Architecture and Design activities ·         Report and present the status to Leadership, Lead Architects and Technology Officers ·         Coordinate in developing Proof of Concepts ·         Collaborate with consultants, vendors ·         Collaborate with client Technology groups / experts for help and reviews
Generic Managerial Skills	·         Excellent communication and co-ordination skills ·         Ability to multi-task effectively between technical and non-technical personnel.
Education	Bachelor or Master Degree
Duration of assignment (in Months)	12 Months
