Is it possible to implement HWB?

Hi peeps, 
I'm a university student trying to do up a literature review on machine vision using different color space.
I've read that the current implementation is using HSV for color detection, correct me if I'm wrong.
Is is possible to implement HWB (Hue Whiteness Blackness) so that I could compare the different.
Where would I look into, I assume is in the firmware of Pixy? ColorLut.cpp and Calc.cpp?

Some guidance will be appreciated :)
