Another query, not specifically about SDK, so feel free to direct me to another venue if inappropriate.  Anyway, I've been trying to talk to the Pixy with one of my Arduinos.  Worked like a charm using the special SPI cable, but no love going directly from the I^2C or UART pins.  I even ran a little I^2C sniifer sketch, and got "no devices found".

Double-checked the SDL/SCA connection, tried new jumpers, even flashed current firmware from cmucam.org.

I^2C is especially important to my application (drones), because my goal is to have the Pixy talk to the flight controller over I^2C.

I dunno .. maybe pullup resistors needed?  Couldn't tell from the wiki entry.

Nevermind ... figured it out -- RRTFM, if you get my drift, problem with staying up too late working on something new and exciting ;^)

But the interface selection widget in PixyMon could use some sprucing up: would be more obvious with a radio button or pulldown menu.

ha!  we have pulldowns in prerelease as of last week.  Not that they're difficult --- the parameters in PIxymon are driven by Pixy, so communicating gui-ness from Pixy to PIxyMon involves more steps.

Simon what type of solution did you get? Im working on a project using the pixy with a drone and talking over I2C was my first attempt at building it. I went to serial for other reasons but i'm curious what type of success you had?
Best,
Isaiah
