Does anyone know if there's an application out there that searches through multiple files for a specific color? I have several thousand images to review, and only a few of these images have very specific colors. I need an application that can search through all these images for the RGB value I specify.
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in. If it isn't, which forum should I post this in?
Thanks. CH

What does 'specific color' mean? Do you mean color format: binary, 4 bit gray, color or other? Am I right when said that you have a lot of images and most of them are 24 bit color images and you would like to find all 4 bit gray images?

Kind of.. I have many images that I would like to search for specific colors. Say I have 1000 images, and only 20 of the images have 100,200,100 (RGB) pixels in it... I'd like an application that first lets me define the RGB color to search for, then to tell me which of those images have those colors. I know anything is possible, and I'm willing to pay for a commercial product if one is available.
Thanks. CH
