iOS account not restored after logging in to Android beta

Hello,

I'm sorry if a similar question to this has already been asked, but I believe the similar question on this forum refers to the private beta so is not 100% applicable to my situation.

I had Pixel Starships on iOS about a year ago, and even bought one clip of Starbux from the App Store. After playing for a bit, my iPhone broke and I replaced it with an Android (which could not play Pixel Starships at the time). I just got an email that said Pixel Starships was now available as an early access game on Google Play, and I jumped at the chance to play again.

After getting through the tutorial, I tried logging into my old account. It accepted my login details and refreshed the game, but brought me back to the new ship I had just chosen and not the old ship I had on my iPhone. I believe my email address was connected to my iPhone account considering I was on the mailing list, but I suppose it is possible that the functionality of linking an email address to a game account had not been available when my iPhone broke.

My question is, is it possible to restore my old iPhone account on my Android device? If my email address cannot be used to login, I still have the App Store receipt from my microtransaction, which I hope can be used to link my two accounts.

Thank you for any help you can give me in this matter, as I would love to get back to playing such a great game.

Hi Joaquin,

I managed to login to your old account just fine using your device key that's connected to your current phone. Can I get a screenshot of your ship as you login? Thanks.

Also, we noticed that your old account has been accessed already and had some room upgrades running. Is the issue now resolved on your end?

Hi Vincent,

thanks a lot for replying and helping me out with this, I really appreciate it.

Here is a picture of my ship immediately after logging in with my account details (this might be relevant: I have not pressed "New Account" at any point on my Android, so I can only assume these login details are from my old account). On my end, it exclusively consists of changes/upgrades I have made over the last few days. In other words, it does not yet seem resolved on my end, as I am certain that my old account was past this point of progress (for example, I am almost sure that my old account had bought a ship upgrade which took a full 24 hours to complete, whichever level that occurs at).


In all honesty, I enjoy this game so much that I will keep playing whether or not I can recover my old account, but at this point my ship only reflects the progress I have made since starting over on my Android device a few days ago. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to try to recover my old account, but otherwise thanks for helping me out and thanks for delivering such a great mobile game.

Hi Joaqin,

I'm glad you enjoy the game, but unfortunately the ship you're currently on is the only other account that we can find on the server that matches your device id and email registration. We are pretty sure that this is the correct ship as well as its Creation date predates the Android build. Perhaps you were mistaken or the ship upgrade request might not have gone through? If I understand you correctly, you are saying that for this account you upgraded to ship level 4 during the past few days, not that it was loaded with it when you logged in to your email?

Without more information I'm afraid we won't be able to help you find your original ship(assuming this isn't actually it). Hope that helps.
