Compatibility between iOS and Android? Game breaking bugs?

So I started playing the game on Android but recently,I got an iPad. Logged in the game with my Android credentials and it worked. I have all the iOS features.
Sometimes I still log from my Android phone but so far everything is ok even tho they are somewhat on different versions.

Should I be worried about breaking something while playing on both OSes or everything should be ok?

I hesitate to say no, but you shouldn't have any issues playing between different devices/OS unless a very critical bug happens(which is unlikely). Any issues that arise from potential can usually be reverted. Hope that answers your question.
