We're encountering a JAI-related issue and are wondering if you've come across it?
Currently we're running Java 17 on a Linux 64 bit system using a 64-bit libclib_jaiio.so file, ideally, we'd like to add support of jpeg-ls, which necessitates the use of the native file.
The issue is that any codec that calls out to the native lib generates a core dump (see below).
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
# SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007f0cb7501534, pid=7, tid=96
# JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (188.8.131.52+1) (build 184.108.40.206+1-LTS-2)
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (220.127.116.11+1-LTS-2, mixed mode, sharing, tiered, compressed oops, compressed class ptrs, g1 gc, linux-amd64)
# Problematic frame:
# C [libclib_jiio.so+0x8534] Java_com_sun_medialib_codec_jp2k_Decoder_decode_1set_1mode+0x4
# Core dump will be written. Default location: Core dumps may be processed with "/usr/share/apport/apport -p%p -s%s -c%c -d%d -P%P -u%u -g%g -- %E" (or dumping to //core.7)
Any guidance or insights is appreciated...
