We are happy to announce our 1st meeting will be November 27th, 5-7pm at Collective Agency, 333 NW 6th Ave, Portland, OR.  We also will have a google video chat to ease the difficulties of travel.

We already have 14 people excited to develop game design opportunities for youths in Oregon and Washington.  The game education group is an open volunteer community dedicated to creating engaging, hands-on learning through making games.

Our initial targets are: 1) art & animation, 2) design, and 3) programming.  We have begun reaching out to various institutes and foundations to see if they will knowledge share best practices for our learning objectives.

If you would like to be involved, please let us know or reply directly to me.

Hope to see you there,

Jeffrey
