Proposing extensions to the MedBiquitous Virtual Patient standard

Hi all,

The working group for the MedBiquitous Virtual Patient (MVP) xml
specification is currently undergoing a process of profiling the
standard according to different families of Virtual Patient systems
that use the standard in a similar way. One of the families that has
been identified is Virtual Worlds, and the PIVOTE system is one of the
systems whose requirements are being considered in this family.

The profiling process allows for extensions to the MVP specification
to be proposed which will enable the systems conforming to that
profile to extend their functionality and enhance portability of cases
between systems of the same family.

Should anybody have implemented (or even modified) PIVOTE for their
own use and have any suggestions for suitable extensions please reply
to this discussion thread, and include details of the nature and
purpose of the proposed extensions. These can then be fed back to the
working group with a view to having the extension included as part of
the Virtual Worlds profile.
