PIVOTE 1.2 Released

We have just released the server code of PIVOTE v1.2 onto Google Code.
This code will work with the existing SL Controllers but for best
results you will need the new SL Interface which is available at Daden
Prime PIVOTE Demo area and will shortly be available through the
PIVOTE Centre at St Georges.

Version 1.2 was released today on the Google Code site. The software
(which has been running on Daden's hosted service for a couple of
weeks now) offers some significant improvements over 1.1 including:

* Chatbots - you can create chatbot/NPCs from within PIVOTE, so as to
populate your exercise with virtual characters
* Shared Media - you can now use the shared media in SL instead of
parcel media, increasing flexibility and simplifying set up
* Simpler SL Interface - we have separated out the controller and
interface functions in SL, so now most SL exercises just need the
simple SL Interface
* Simpler multiple choice questions - you could always do multiple-
choice through activity node links, but now you can rapidly create
multiple-choice questions to test knowledge without effecting exercise
flow
