Hi,

I am trying to observe cell movements using PIVlab3.01.

I would like to analyze the movements of cells by using “Extract parameters from poly-line” in “Extractions”.

My question is, what is "Tangent velocity" in "Extract parameters from poly-line"?

What kind of velocity does it indicate?

Hi, it is the velocity component that is tangent to the line / circle you have drawn.
