I would like to ask what i can explain based on the plot of instantaneous velocity magnitude and u-component as shown in the picture?

Hi:

    I think it can be explained by "uncertainty that changes over time".

   There is a lot of literature on the uncertainty of PIV, including the uncertainty that varies with time.
