Thesis chapter to explain the GUI for shear and strain

Hi William,

Would you mind to send me a copy of your thesis that you explained the shear rate and shear strain part?

It will be much appreciated if you can send me the chapter that you explained your GUI.

I would like to know about what assumptions you have made and why "out = px-qy (strain)" and "out = qx + qy (shear)"?

I think I have it from here (page 473):

There is no additional information on this in my PhD thesis I think.
