Hi,
I output the PivLab results to tecplot format, where the open mask area also has velocity values. Is there any way to make the mask exist in tecplot as well?
I placed the PIVlab and imported images into tecplot in the following document.
Microsoft Word.docx

You have to use another frame with no background and plot the isNaN. Then color cutoff below to erase the no mask data and push the IsNaN frame on the top.

You can do value blanking based on the variable "isNaN".

Hi,
Can you be more specific? I don't seem to understand

Blanking is the way to go, especially when you perform calculations afterwards:

Thanks again for your reply,William

I also have a small problem with the "extractions-parameters from polyline".Can the position information of this line be saved so that data of the same position can be extracted when analyzing different image sequences? How to set this in PivLab?

I have the same request, Dr.William.

This function would be very helpful if added.

Although point markers can be used to position the lines relatively accurately for image sequences, saving line formation would save a lot of time.

Thanks,

This is on my list of things I want to add. I would need some time without family to implement this, but with the current pandemic, this does not seem to happen...
