Hello, i have a doubt. I want to have in the MATLAB workspace the velocity components u and v after the vector validation in order to calculate the mean and plot it in Tecplot. If you can help me, my questions are the following:

- The u_filtered and v_filtered are the velocity components after the vector validation or I have to process it with a MATLAB code in order to get the correct vectors?

- This question is Tecplot related,  once I have obtained  the desired u and v , can I export it to Tecplot in MATLAB?

Thanks in advance

Hi, you can calculate the mean directly in Pivlab. And then you can directly export to Tecplot from Pivlab.
However, you are correct that u_filtered and v_filtered are the correct variables after validation.

The mean calculated in PIVlab is calculated using the variables after validation right?

Every time I load a session the vector validation disappears, is there any way to keep it?

Thanks for your help

Hi, what do you mean with ”disappears"? I think the data should still be there, maybe the GUI doesn't update properly...
