Hello,
I have doubts regarding the units of strain rate, it shows 1/s.
Usually, it should be in some distance units like mm or cm.
How can we obtain the length units for strain rate?

Could you please point to the definition of this property that you have in mind? The rate of strain in all PIV apps is \partial u/\partial x kind of variable (spatial gradient of velocity) and so it's 1/s, alike vorticity, etc.
